Do you love yourself? When we judge ourselves, we carry this over to judging others. This judgment reflects the lack of love for ourselves.
Likewise, when our inner critic criticizes us for being not good enough, we criticize others for not being good enough, even though it may be in our minds only. Our judgments and critical thoughts close our hearts to loving ourselves and thereby others.
I believe many people remain unaware of how they think and the way they treat themselves becomes the same way they treat most other people.
Do you know people who are unkind to others? When you reflect on them do you see they have the same unkindness towards themselves, the same lack of self love?
Are you ready to take another step in loving yourself?
This means you accept yourself just the way you are. Once you can do this, then change can happen. Byron Katie – The Work – shows how to overcome judgments and discover the reality of who we really are. You can also recognize and change the critical thoughts in your head through Reprogramming methods and also Thought Records .
When we learn to love ourselves, only then can we truly love others.
My experience shows when I came to loving myself more, I attracted a relationship with a twin flame in alignment with my life purpose.
Would you like this for yourself?
I met my wife, Lyn, after years of codependent relationships. My codependent behaviors reflected searching for love outside myself. At the time I suffered low grade depression after giving up everything from my previous life, including a business relationship. I however, experienced joy teaching energy healing seminars, my purpose at that time.
Enjoying my life purpose, I attracted Lyn, a different kind of relationship from any previous ones. Lyn, at that time, approached the gateway of entering her life purpose.
We came together to work in a common life purpose of assisting people to enter higher levels of consciousness through our healing gifts.
Some people might say we came together as twin flames or twin souls, a romantic notion. Reality, however, offered us years of polishing the rough edges off our personalities as we bumped up against each other. However because we felt a deep connection and knew we had a bigger purpose, we persevered through conflict and unhappiness.
In perspective, even though we had a common purpose, we still experienced disharmony and suffering. The difference is we chose to go through our personality issues rather than remaining trapped in pain and suffering for years.
Once we clean up our personalities, so they get less in the way, then pain and suffering shift to joy and peace within a relationship.
As long as our personalities run a relationship, conflict reigns.
Do you want a loving relationship, than beginning loving and healing yourself?
Relationships like a mirror reflect who you are inside – our unhealed emotional issues and areas where you can love yourself more.
Seek first in loving yourself. Self love attracts the Twin Flame.
